Walking distance to Columbia, this one bedroom is available in an owner occupied 3-bed apartment (3rd bed is owner’s office-it is not rented), with 2 full baths (bathroom in photos primarily for renter's use), kitchen (light cooking), dining area. Sunny living room with view of park. Available bedroom is approximately 9’ x 14’, with window AC, queen bed, area carpet, armoire with shelving, and closet. Hope to provide desk and chair by September. Washer/Dryer inside apartment. Renter will pay difference in monthly electric/gas bill if more than $20 compared to last year's billing. While there is no cat in the apartment, owner does occasionally foster for a shelter (one cat at a time)so renter must be comfortable around cats. Close to B/C subway and several bus lines. Residents in building are friendly and quiet.
Female applicants only, non-smoker, no drugs/alcohol, very responsible, quiet, considerate, mature in attitude with positive outlook and good personal/housekeeping habits. Graduate student/faculty preferred. No couples, pets, or guests. There is a no guest policy for renters, as this is a private home. Referrals and proof of income/guarantor required. CDC protocols if necessary. Available for school year (Sept 1 -June), possibly longer. Will consider one semester rental for graduate students and visiting professionals.
