Single Bedroom in a private / owner occupied home ( this is not an apartment ). Shared bath (with one other graduate student - female). Kitchen priviges if desired. House is a quiet, comfortable home; cozy, social and welcoming. Ideal situation for serious grad student, PhD, postdoc or visiting researcher. Several areas aside from the room to study or relax. The past few years I've had Brazilian Fullbright scholars and this year I have 2. The people here are usually very friendly and we usually share meals once or twice a week (especially in the winter months) and you are welcome/encouraged to join. Two cats roam the house (they understand Portuguese, I think). If you are allergic to pets/dander/dust this will not be a good place for you, No cooking or food allowed in the rooms (snacks/drinks within reason). I have been renting room(s) to Yale grad students for over 35 years - Recent references from borders are available if needed/desired.

It's helpful for me if you at least tell me the school where you'll be studying/taking classes, where you're from, how long a stay are you looking for, when you want to move in, etc. Any background information you want to provide is also welcome.
