Brix Apartments Lofts is a classic Cream City brick structure with 99 open concept apartment lofts that reflect Milwaukee’s rich heritage, authentic culture and bold character. Brix is located on the 400 block of West Florida Street adjacent to the Iron Horse Hotel and just south of the Harley Davidson Museum. The Brix began its life as a candy factory. Built in 1907, it was the one of the first concrete commercial structures in North America. There are 12” of concrete between each floor and when converted to apartments in 2015, construction included double walls between each apartment. Between the two you will find the apartments a very quiet, unlike some of the newer construction which are wood framed. We have several retail amenities, Brew Fitness, Greige Patisserie and Lost Valley Cider, and Community Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery all which are accessible without leaving the building.
