Long Beach buildings are very old, but we have a newer building (1990), so no Lead hazard worry. (According to U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, many houses and apartments built before 1978 in the U.S. have paint that contains high levels of lead that can pose serious health hazards.)

Prices above are for unfurnished rooms.

Add $30 per month for a furnished room with a desk, lamp, chair, mattress, mattress support box and bookshelf.

Add $80 per month for a parking space inside the gate with a remote control. Street parking is free.

Prices include utilities (water, trash, sewer, electricity, gas and high-speed wireless Internet). No worry for monthly utility cost fluctuations.

Landlord takes care of vacancy and finds new tenants. You don't need to worry about vacant rooms. You don't need to pay higher share of rent when other tenants leave your unit. You only need to focus on study.

One bedroom per person. No bedroom sharing.

Each unit has a kitchen with stove, microwave, refrigerator, shelves, table and chair.
