Available early May 2026. This is a 3 bedroom house with 2 bathrooms. It will rent for $1500 a month and the heat and water utilities are included, the tenants pay for the electricity. Many of the pictures represent a property under rennovation. One might notice the new floors in the kitchen and where the claw foot bathtub is on the second floor. Other than the kitchen and bathrooms, the entire house has hard wood floors with some rugs included. I bought this property in March 20213 and it has been rented after the second day that I owned it until this summer. I'm in a position to shut down the property and finally start making the rennovations that I have wanted for the last 10+ years. Currently, I have a caretaker living there who can move from room to room as rennovations are underway. I'm going to get rid of some of the plastered walls and fake wood paneling from the 1970s On the second floor, there are two bedrooms of about equal size while the other is a bit smaller and has been used by previous tenants (grad students) as a study. The second floor bathroom has an antique claw foot tub that is great for soaking. The first floor bathroom has a tub/shower combo. There is a front porch with a nice view of the canal and a community garden across the street where one may rent a plot. Additionally, there is a driveway for three vehicles and it is snow plowed by the landlord, and the landlord cuts the grass as well. Lots of storage space with plenty of room in the basement that has an additional walk-in entrance on the northside of the house, and under the porch (past tenants stored stuff like a kayak or motorcycle during the winter months). Additional storage space adjacent to the kitchen is on the far west side of the house in an unheated room. A dog or cat that is approved by the landlord will be an additional $50 in rent per four-legged friend. Last, there is a coin-free washer and dryer in the basement and there is no smoking allowed inside the house nor grow lights allowed for indoor vegetables or maijuana. I believe that is a fire hazard. Last, there is a kitchen with a new fridge, floor, self-cleaining oven/stove, floor, and, additionally a dining room with a table and chairs and a living room.
