Even though it’s open to the public, the university also has the Harry Mussatto Golf Course that students can go to, just north of the campus. As mentioned above, there are many parks located in Macomb to enjoy, like Patton Park, so take a day spending it by the pond fishing or taking in the scenery.
Even though Macomb is a fairly small city, students find plenty of ways to have fun both on off campus! Joining one of the many campus organizations is a great way to get involved. From anime to joining a frat or sorority, and everything in between there’s a club that will interest you (or you can start your own!). Many students choose to give back to the community by participating in local events like picking up trash or the Big Pink Volleyball game to donate money to breast cancer research.
