Hi! I am looking for someone in their 20's or 30's (female only please) to split my 1 bedroom apartment at Fair Oaks Apartments. The room is available for either March or April 1st, 2020.
It's a medium-size unfurnished private bedroom with two closets in a 1 BR/ 1 Bath apartment with a hardwood floor. The living room is where I stay: it's enclosed by two doorways, (one with a curtain). We both have access to the kitchen and bathroom. Rent is $540 for each of us with usually $10-15 for utilities per person. I have Wifi and for $25 a month you can sign on. There is also an on-site laundry, storage, and street or garage parking.
You would need to apply through the Fair Oaks Apartments leasing office and co-sign the lease which ends May 31, 2020 (renew's yearly). I request 2 months' notice if you decide to vacate before the lease is up so I can find a roommate. The office generally looks for two years good rental and employment history for all applicants, though they will work with you if you meet most requirements. The managers at Fair Oaks are very nice and helpful!
I work as a Freelance Illustrator, designer, live event fashion illustrator, ***.******.*** and Lyft/Uber driver. I'm easy going, kind and enjoy running, cooking, and drawing. Every now and then I'm free to do something fun but I stay pretty busy with work. I'm clean but not picky about it, a non-smoker, and prefer no smoking. I have a Bunny who resides in my area, with a puppy gate keeping her out of the kitchen area and your room. I keep Timothy hay in the apartment, so please consider if you have any allergies ;) I've lived at Fair Oaks for 6 years and think it is one of the prettiest apartments in the Minneapolis area! This could be a good fit for someone who needs a quiet, affordable place to relax after work or study.
