Renting Shippensburg Off-Campus Housing
If you’re looking to secure off-campus housing in Shippensburg, you’ll want to start searching in the Fall for the next academic year. Students begin searching and touring places as early as September, with the majority signing leases in mid-October and November. At the very least, you’ll want to make sure you’re thinking about where you plan on living before you leave for Thanksgiving break.
As with most schools, larger bedroom houses and apartments close to campus will be the first to fill, so if you’re hoping to live with friends, you won’t want to procrastinate. Smaller, 1 bedroom options a little bit further from campus are often still available later in the year, so if you’re a graduate student looking for a quiet place for yourself and maybe one other roommate, you might have a little extra time.
