On campus, students enjoy engaging in sports, workouts and other physical activities at the Golden Dome Athletic & Fitness Center. There are several intramural and club sports to get involved in from volleyball to soccer and everything in between. Students can take advantage of the many of the indoor and outdoor sports courts and fields, and use the fitness facility.

Close to campus is student getaway spot, Branch Brook Park (the nations first county park). Students head to this spot to escape the stresses of college and the city. Popular for its cherry blossom trees, Branch Brook is the perfect spot to lay in the grass or stroll through the historic grounds. Students can get to the park by train and take guided or self walking tours passing over bridges and through gates to see all the architecture and sculptures located throughout the park.
