The 1800-acre park hosts 57 miles of trails winding through the valleys and Wissahickon Creek. If you're planning to explore the trails by bicycle you may need to purchase a permit through the Fairmount Park Commission.

Sporting events are a great way to make memories with friends and show off your school pride. Attending a Philadelphia Eagles football game may be out of your budget (and out of your interests if you didn't grow up an Eagles fan), but you can experience a Temple football game on the same Lincoln Financial Field.

Heading to center city can make for a great day of shopping, eating, and enjoying various events. A train leaves right from Temple's campus for a convenient trip to center city. Another trip worth making is to the Wells Fargo Center to see your favorite show or concert.
