One place you need to stop by is Prophetstown State Park; they have 2200 Acres of prairies with paved and unpaved trails. Not far from West Lafayette you can explore some outdoor history at the Tippecanoe Battlefield. If you don't feel like traveling, Slater Hill on Purdue's Campus can be a great place to relax outdoors with occasional music.

Things To Do in Lafayette, IN

You won't find a shortage of things to do with your time while attending Purdue. The stress of school may have you singing in the shower and if you're feeling confident about those pipes, you can take your shower singing to the main stage with the countless places with weekly karaoke specials. If you're looking to find your crowd there are plenty of campus organizations with similar interest as well.

It is fairly common to sled at Slayer Hill with objects other than regular sleds. The Indy 500 is a bit of a trip away, but you can hear some of the world's best EDM DJs in the snake pit with music lasting all night.
