Students are especially fond of the lunch specials, which are cheaply priced and always come with a free cup of soup. If you’re tired of eating at the same old dining hall for lunch every day, check out the Asian Cafe. You won’t be disappointed!
We’ve got lunch and breakfast covered, but that still leaves a very important food group out of the loop: beer. Okay, so maybe it’s not its own food group, but when you’re in college it comes pretty close. Brothers on 2nd will provide you with all the beer (and mixed drinks) you need to have a great night out on the town with friends, but it’s also great for its food, too. People rave about the pub-style burgers, so give one a shot when you’re in the mood for quality comfort food!
We know what you’re thinking: aren’t badgers a UW-Madison thing? Not anymore! Platteville is home to Badger Brothers Coffee, a specialty coffeehouse with delicious blends that can’t be found anywhere else in town. It also serves great pastries, snacks and cakes, which are a staple of any collegiate diet. Every student needs a coffeehouse to call home, so if you’ve got a weekend free, venture out to Badger Brothers Coffee and claim it as your new weekend study space!
While we think all of the places on this list are incredible, it’s up to you to find your favorite eateries in Platteville. Don’t worry, we trust you — if you’re smart enough to get into the programs at UW-Platteville, you’ve definitely got the brains to find the best restaurants in town!
