New management (Peak Campus) brought big change to the Rockland West Apartments. One million dollars of change to be exact! Apartments were upgraded along with an extension to the fitness center and an addition of an indoor sports court. Shelby said, “Management, maintenance, and front office staff are amazing. The renovations of the clubhouse and apartments themselves are beautiful and modern. Everyone is always helpful and polite, I wouldn’t want to live anywhere else!” Students can choose between two and three-bedroom apartments and each person will have their own private bath. Some other great community amenities are an outdoor fire pit with grilling area, study rooms, coffee bar, resort-style pool, and indoor tanning beds. No car, no problem! The private shuttle bus will drive students to and from campus.
Sister community to some of our other top picks (Rockland West & Legend Place), the Rockland Apartments offer students a one of a kind off-campus living experience. Resident James said, “I have been a tenant at The Rockland for a couple years now. My experience is a 5/5. Whenever I have a question or concern, I call or message the office and have been helped quickly each time,” while Markisha exclaimed, “I highly recommend living at the Rockland, you will enjoy every moment of it!” Residents will have access to all the unbeatable amenities like a pool, hot tub, computer lab, lounge, sports pavilion, and two bark parks for your furbaby. What’s not to enjoy?
Just minutes away from the KU campus is student housing oasis, Legends Place. Skip the hassle of moving a bunch of furniture and choose between a two, three, or four-bedroom fully furnished unit. Every unit also comes with free HBO and internet, you’ll never miss your favorite show again!
Keeley wrote, “I absolutely loved living here! I just moved out of state and I haven’t found anywhere like it in the town I live now. It is very helpful for students and the staff is excellent. They are incredibly helpful. The apartments are spacious and you get your own space. I really enjoyed having the KU bus system to use so I didn’t have to take my car to school. They also have a great computer lab to use that has free printing! That helped me out so much while I was in school! They are also very loyal to their tenants. Great place to live!” With a newly renovated clubhouse, 24-hour fitness center, beach entry pool, and game room it does sound pretty great!
Neighboring the University of Kansas is the Meadowbrook Apartments & Townhomes. With options between studios to four-bedroom apartment and townhomes, there’s something for everybody to love! Jon says that Meadowbrook has, “Good value apartments, right by campus. Management is great to interact with and quickly respond to any problems or concerns. Maintenance is also quick to respond when called upon. By far the best management of any apartment in Lawrence I have lived in.” Residents at Meadowbrook will be just a short drive to several shops and downtown. If you don’t have a car living at Meadowbrook will give you easy, quick access to several KU and Lawrence bus stops that will bring you anywhere around town.

Conveniently located just steps away from the KU campus are the Hawk Pointe Apartments. Kristen says she’s, “Lived here about a month now and we love it. Convenient to downtown, KU, fast food, and on the bus line,” while Rob said Hawks Pointe has a “Friendly staff and the maintenance is on point. The buildings have some age to them but they keep it all up to date. Leasing and move in was so organized and easy that they should win an award just for that. All in all, it’s a great place to call home!” Residents will also get to use the community amenities like a business center, game room, swimming pool, fitness center, and on-site laundry facility. You too can call one of the studios to four-bedroom units at Hawks Pointe home!
If you’re wanting to live alone, conveniently close to campus, the Remington Square Apartments are the place for you! Residents boast they, “Love these studios, they are pet-friendly and the complex is awesome! The management changed here recently and the new company is great. Very responsive and professional. I’ll be staying next year!” For 24 hours, seven days a week, residents can utilize the resident lounge with free Wi-fi, vending machines, fitness center, and laundry facility. Living at Remington puts you close to the KU campus, shopping, and restaurants, and near the KU and city bus routes.
For nearly three decades, Cherry Hill Properties has been putting the residents of Lawrence into their perfect pads!
